Why does this camp exist?

The camp’s purpose is to grow the sport of 3×3 basketball in Sarnia-Lambton and provide an affordable camp option to Sarnia-Lambton youth. Players who participate in the camp will learn the new sport of 3×3 basketball. Select standout players will be considered for a bursary award that gives them the chance to compete at the Team Addy Sarnia Tournament. The camp is also a feeder program for our Summer 3×3 Basketball Travel Teams.

Who is it for?

Athletes who want to improve quickly, compete hard, and experience real tournament‑format learning in a fun, supportive environment.

What they’ll learn?

Communicate under pressure. Adjust to different teammates. Read opponents quickly. Make fast, high‑IQ decisions. Compete with confidence.

What does the registration fee cover?

1 Full Week of Camp (5 days), Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm

Under 10 and Under 12 (teams are mixed male and female players). Availability is dependent on the number of players who register.

The History of 3×3 basketball!

FIBA 3×3 (pronounced “three-ex-three”) is a newly recognized global sport and was officially introduced to the Olympics in 2020 and has since exponentially grown its fan and player base around the world with its first explosion in European countries and is now expanding in popularity rapidly in the Americas. In the 2nd Summer Olympics held in Paris in 2024, Canada participated in the Women’s 3×3 basketball division.
